In March a wonderful storyteller and friend, Nick Hennessy, kindly travelled over from Cumbria to help us out, bringing us arms full of stories and songs.
From the first touch of the strings of his harp we were drawn into a world of wonder and dreaming.
Stories of real people or not? Living ordinary yet extraordinary lives. Bringing us humour, pathos and joy, all unravelling in his inimitable telling.
As Nick began, everything around us disappeared and we were held together in wonder and delight, from harp to voice, song to word.
What a gift to receive and how lucky we were to be there.
His stories whether personal, true or unreal, mythical or magical twisted and turned, weaving together with song and harp, filling us up and leaving us feeling truly blessed to have been a part of it.
