There Be Tyrants. Martin Manasse and Meidi Goh.
June 6 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Dealing with Tyrants seems so relevant today but how to deal with them? How about a bit of magic?
We are very grateful to Deborah Thorne who generously loaned us the bass viol.
Martin is an international storyteller, a friend, and a regular performer at A Bit Crack.
Meidi Goh is a folk musician, singer and songwriter who plays the violin and viola da gamba. She is inspired by the deeper meaning of storytelling, magic, fairy tales, folk, Elizabethan music and where they all meet.
Next to producing two solo albums she plays in several folk bands and has worked with multiple storytellers and a historical theater group across the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.
Next to making music she works as a librarian, studies astrology and lives together with her son and cat, in The Netherlands.
They have performed a programme of stories interwoven with music together in the Tussenland Festival in Zwolle in 2022.
Duration will be about 2 hours including an interval.
