Like a seasoned malt whisky connoisseur David Campbell presents an evening of stories distilled from his favourite storytellers.

David Campbell, known internationally as a popular ambassador of traditional Scottish Celtic tales and lore, has also gathered on his journeys a feast of tales from the mad to the sad, the cheerful to the tearful, his telling spiced by the ever present elves of mischief. His warm and flamboyant presence has carried him vividly into the heart of stories and audiences worldwide.

His infectious love of life enter the texture of his tellings, drawing audiences of every age and clime into the age-old magic of his craft, a craft born  in the ballad-rich north east of Scotland of his childhood, enriched by years working as a BBC Radio Producer and honed by his friendship and travels with master storyteller of the travelling people, Duncan Williamson and his immersion in the powerful poetry, indigenous lore and traditions of Celtic tales.
