Our landscape is layered with stories –the more we know, the more we belong, the more we come to see the invisible heart of a place. This piece explores that gradual process of discovery from an outsiders viewpoint, drawing from folk tales and fairy tales, legends, oral reminiscences and chance comments, met along the way.
Storyteller Helen East and percussionist Rick Wilson, create a unique combination of performance, conversation, rhythm  and music. Narrative meanders in and out of song, slipping easily from one style to another, exploring themes with humour and ingenuity, leaving listeners with deep dreams…
