Wolves, bears and lynx once roamed the hills and forests of Britain. Is it time for them to return? Here, we add mythic voice to the debate, telling tales from near and far that illuminate these mysterious hunters, woven together with folk song and the hypnotic sounds of the didgeridoo and hang drum.

Described as ‘mischievous and magical’ and ‘one of Scotland’s finest storytellers’, Daniel Allison’s evocative and lyrical storytelling style has made him a fixture on the Scottish festival circuit and a favourite in schools across the country. Daniel’s tales of magic, adventure, darkness and beauty are interwoven with virtuoso didgeridoo playing and have been shared with audiences across the UK and in Europe, Asia and the US.

In 2016 Daniel met Cornish folk singer and musician Lally O’Keeffe and a partnership was quickly performed. After spending the summer of 2017 touring UK festivals they returned to Scotland to perform The Missing Lynx to a sell-out audience at the Scottish International Storytelling Festival. Daniel is currently writing a novel set in prehistoric Orkney while he and Lally are putting together a storytelling piece based on Deirdre of the Sorrows.
