Dominic grew up amongst the wildness and rain of the Lake District fells. Now his life is divided between northern England and Sweden. In both places, hills are fells (fjälls) and rivers are becks (bäcks). There the similarities end. The landscape and people’s attitudes to it differ wildly. Through stories from both lands, Dominic explores the differences, the dislocation of finding oneself in an alien landscape, the journey towards a relationship with it, and what it tells him about his old homeground.
Dominic is a contemporary performance storyteller whose dynamic, engaging style has captivated audiences in theatres, festivals and schools across the UK, Sweden and around the world.
